Beau Goes Back to School!
Becky A was happy to attend Huguley Elementary School's celebration for top scoring Accelerated Readers on May 14, 2025. We had a great time celebrating great readers. Great food, fun games and prizes! Thank you, Mrs. Grubbs, Miss Newton, and Mrs. Kinard for inviting me!
Beau's Books Continue to Receive Great Recognition
On May 11, 2025, it was announced that Beau's Lost Stick is the 2025 Literary Global Children's Book Award Winner for the Fiction Category! This book also was chosen as Finalist in the categories of Animals/Pets and Bedtime.

Beau's Thankful Book was chosen as the 2025 Literary Global Children's Book Award Finalist in the categories of Bedtime, Holiday, and Realistic Fiction.
On May 2, 2025, Beau, Mrs. Alane Duncan, and Becky A joined Mrs. Letson’s first graders for storytime and snacks! The class shared their Beau artwork and even taught us about personification—what a smart group of young authors!
